What is Database Of?

Database Of is part of my thesis attempt to explore the changing cultural weights assigned to a lexicon of word taxonomies. By identifying certain adverbial taxonomies, I hope to eventually be able to graph the delta cultural implications of these taxons over time.

What is a Taxon?

For the purpose of this study, Taxons are a single adverbial linguistic element in a Taxonomy. For example, Surveillance is a Taxon. The Taxonomy of the Taxon Surveillance describes a collection of Clades, Vectors, Culture, and Noospheres.

What is a Clade?

A Clade is a first generation noun object of an Adverbial Taxon. They are primarily cultural derivations of a Taxon. For Surveillance, a Clade might be: By Cameras, or Of People, or Of Wildlife.

What is a Vector?

A Vector is a first generation descriptive noun of an Clade. They are primarily cultural derivations of a Clades. For Taxon: Surveillance, Clade: By Cameras, a Vector might be: Subway Cameras, or Tourist Cameras, or Protestor Videos.

What is a Culture?

A Culture is a subjective response to a Vector. They are primarily cultural derivations of a Taxon. For Taxon: Surveillance, Clade: By Cameras, Vector: Subway Cameras, a Culture might be: Get Rid of Subway Cameras, or Subway Cameras Protect Our Safety.

What is the Noosphere?

The Noosphere is a collection of captured identifiable instances of a Culture in a media stream.
